2007 NCTC SHEPHERDSTOWN WEST VIRGINIA REUNION

The 2007 reunion of FWS retirees was May 17-20 at

National Conservation Training Center (NCTC)

in Shepherdstown, WV.

The NCTC is the ‘ home of the Service’ and houses its museum and provides the major training for Service employees.  A special event was scheduled during the reunion to help celebrate the 100th birth date of Rachel Carson at Patuxent - a very special gathering to remember a very special Fish & Wildlife Service scientist.

In addition to an icebreaker social barbeque and another evening banquet, reunion attendees also spent a day-long event touring the Chesapeake NWR and visitor center.

Thank you, Wendell Ogden for being our special host and chairman for the 2007 reunion.
